Math Practice Skill Builders
Looking for a way to reinforce basic math skills on a quick, daily basis? Need a daily math warm-up for your students? Need to provide daily review for students of varying ability levels? Well, here it is!
Each day your students will practice 5 math skills – all on one page! No need for multiple worksheets. Plus, these skill-builders are totally customizable, reusable if laminated, and useful for a classroom full of students at different proficiency levels.
Skills practiced include: addition and subtraction facts, number order, even/odd, fractions, sequencing, comparing, adding three or more numbers, whole-part-part, patterns, grouping, place value, tally marks, Roman numerals, introduction to the concepts of multiplication and division, rounding, time, money, writing and solving number sentences, counting angles and sides of 2D shapes, and writing numbers as words.
What's unique about these Math Practice Skill Builders is that they are customizable because the teacher fills in the problems. So for addition facts, the teacher can test a student's knowledge of the 2 family – or much harder problems. A child can be called upon to circle the coins to make 7 cents – or 67 cents.
For even greater value, laminate the sheets and have students copy the problems from a master sheet.
There are 5 pages of Math Practice Skill Builders. Five duplicate pages filled out by teacher and student are also included as examples of completed sheets.
