Math Intervention: Our CCSS aligned math intervention unit provides 14-20 days worth of differentiated problem-solving activities to give students the strategies they need to solve word problems. Perfect for general education, special education, RTI and math intervention! Can be used with students in grades K-3.
Clark the Counting Crocodile is the second strategy animal in Problem-Solving Pond series. In this unit, students learn how to count on and count back in many different story or word problems. Counting is a crucial strategy because it helps students explore the relationships and patterns between numbers. Clark uses a special rhyming poem and 100's chart to teach the students how to use the counting strategy across a variety of settings. Clark's unit includes:
--Introduction to Problem-Solving Pond Unit

--Detailed math intervention lesson plan using gradual release of responsibility method
