### Description

Math Intervention: Our CCSS aligned math intervention unit provides 14-20 days worth of differentiated problem-solving activities to give students the strategies they need to solve word problems. Perfect for general education, special education, RTI and math intervention! Can be used with students in grades K-3.

Daphne Drawing Dragonfly is a strategy animal in the Problem-Solving Pond series. When students use the drawing strategy, they are making a concrete representation, strengthening understanding of the mathematical concepts. Effective math classrooms include frequent use of pictorial representations to help students process and visualize mathematical concepts learned.

Daphne uses a special rhyming poem to teach the students how to use the drawing strategy to solve a variety of story or word problems. Daphne's unit includes:
