Using hole punchers are great for the kids' fine-motor skills at the beginning of the year. They are great for your math centers, or for your small instruction groups.
Have your students read the number word in the middle of the task card and identify which pictures or equations equal that value. Then, your students will hole punch the matching value. There are 10 correct answers for each task card.
I have included 4 different versions for each number to differentiate instruction in your classroom. Version 1 being the easiest and version 4 being the hardest.
There is also an extension sheet to use as an informal assessment. There are 10 empty blanks for your student to write their own representations of the given number.
This set of punchers has cards for numbers 1-10. There are 4 different versions for each number, so this set has 40 different punch cards.
