This resource contains 51 activities that utilize small plastic toys for math, reading, language, science, writing as well as art activities for Preschool through 2nd grade. The six page handout gives you an assortment of ideas (mini-lessons) in addition to many extensions and variations for the activities. Since the difficulty of the activities ranges from Preschool to about the third grade level, differentiated instruction is easy because most of the activities can be modified or altered with little effort. Also, the activities can be easily adapted or modified for whatever grade or area of expertise you teach. They are engaging as well as fun, especially for the kinesthetic and/or visual learner.
