Students thoroughly enjoy this small group/center/intervention activity! Students are given a problem card which contains either multi-digit addition, multi-digit subtraction, or both addition and subtraction problems. These problems are numbered 1-6. Students are then asked to roll the die (or number cube) and work out the corresponding problem that is the same number as what they rolled. Then, the student uses a dry-erase marker to record the answer on the laminated problem card. Once all of the answers have been recorded on the problem card, the student flips over the problem card to reveal the answer key.
My students BEG to play Math Rolls during center time. It's an enjoyable way for the students to work on their addition and subtraction skills all the while they are able to independently check their own answers.
The preview contains all of the pages. There are even pictures included in the instructions. I am also working on a set of multiplication and division math rolls... Follow me so that you can continue to see products such as these!
