This math scavenger hunt is a great review activity of all the skills taught throughout the year. Students will complete this math scavenger hunt using newspapers and or magazines. Students will find different math topics that have been taught throughout the year in the newspaper. Students will cut these things out and glue them to construction paper. Some of the topics the students have to do a little more than just cut and glue. I have also included some challenge finds. I have included a rubric if you want to use this as a grade.
Topics: Fractions (identifying, comparing, and equivalent)
Polygons (identifying and describing angles)
Place Value (word, standard, and expanded forms)
Graphs(bar and pic to)
Measurement (time, temperature, length)
