Students match the numeral card, number word, expanded notation and base ten block card on the work mat. Cards can be divided into quantities of 20 or use all 120 at one time.
Number Sense Mania contains the following:
• Numeral cards 1 to 120
• Number words 1 to 120
• Expanded notation for numbers 1 to 120
• Base Ten Blocks for quantities 1 to 120
• Work Mat for matching all (4) areas
• Worksheet for students to record their answers.
Directions: It is recommended to print on card stock and laminate for durability. Set printer settings in ADOBE to: FIT TO PRINTABLE AREA / AUTO ROTATE AND CENTER.

1st Grade Georgia Standards of Excellence:

Math

MGSE1.NBT.1: Count to 120, starting at any number less than 120. In this range, read and write numerals and represent a number of objects with a written numeral.

MGSE1.NBT.2: Understand that the two digits of a two-digit number represent amounts of tens and ones. Understand the following as special cases:
a. 10 can be thought of as a bundle of ten ones — called a “ten.”
b. The numbers from 11 to 19 are composed of a ten and one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, or nine ones.
c. The numbers 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 refer to one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, or nine tens (and 0 ones).
