These partner cards will help you randomly assign partners while reviewing common core standards. Let's face it we are not getting more time in the day, so why not use the time we have differently. Simply download, print, cut, and laminate and you are ready to go. Hand out a card from one of the sets to each of the students. The students will then find the student with the card that "matches" their card and they can begin the activity. Each set is uniquely designed so the sets will not get mixed up. Set 1 has students pairing tricky multiplication facts with their products (e.g. 8X7=56 or 7X7=49). Set 2 has students finding the number that is 10 times bigger or 10 times smaller than their number (numbers go to the millions place). Set 3 has students matching geometry terms with their definitions. Set 4 has students looking for a fraction that is equivalent to their fraction. Set 5 requires students to convert between fractions and decimals. Each set contains 13 matches (enough for 26 students). Have an odd number of students? Each set also comes with a "Lucky Leftover" card. That student can choose his/her group, or work with you for the activity. Students will love finding their partner, and you will love the review that they get.
