Glyphs are a powerful way to teach students to display, analyze and interpret data. Making glyphs requires the use of classification and sorting. Your students will make decisions about their winter interests, like and dislikes to determine how to create their snowman. After the class is done, they will be able to analyze and compare class data. This activity reinforces CCSS K.MD3-Classifyand Count, and CCSS 1.MD4-Representing and Interpreting Data.
