Give your students all of the **math spiral review**, applications work, and skills practice they need with this highly focused 5th Grade Math Spiral Review **BUNDLE**! This **weekly **printable provides students the two things they need most in math: 1) consistent, spiral review on essential skills learned both in previous grades and newly-acquired skills, and 2) opportunities to apply those skills in real-life situation word problems.

The PASS Pack (**P**racticing **A**pplications and **S**kill **S**ets) is so versatile! Designed as a **weekly **two-sided resource, you can use it all at once or break it up into sections. You can assign it as Morning Work to get kids thinking mathematically, as homework, as in-class practice, as part of your math center rotations, or in a small intervention group.

It's Common Core Aligned: You’ll see some skills presented as number problems and others embedded in word problems. The word problems provide review of Common Core 4th grade standards and practice on 5th grade standards as they are introduced during the quarter. Full answer keys are included.

**Want to try the quarters separately? Click here for each one:**

→**Suggestions For Use In Your Classroom:**

- Assign one box or a few specific boxes. This works great as Morning Work or Bell Ringers.
- Assign just the front side for homework.
- Assign just the back side for homework.
- Have students teach the word problems to each other or the whole class.
- Have manipulatives available for activities as needed.
- Use the boxes to guide mini-lessons.
- Use the problems in a math rotations center as independent work.

**What Is Included In The PASS Pack BUNDLE?**

**Fun:** Kids will love the Math Laugh that begins each week! The answer to the riddle is on the back sheet at the bottom. Other fun sections are the Calculator Solve and Flip, Math Analogies Code Busters, and the Can You Build 30? feature. Kids will be challenged and have fun!

**Skills Practice:** This four-quarter bundle addresses the following skills and many others:

⭐Rules of Divisibility

⭐Exponential notation

⭐Ordering fractions

⭐Multiplying and dividing by powers of ten

⭐Rounding decimals

⭐Simplifying expressions

⭐Factoring numbers

⭐Finding multiples

⭐Completing input/output chart and writing rule for y

⭐Reducing fractions

**Applications:** In these word problems, students will apply knowledge learned from 4th grade standards and apply new 5th grade standards as they are introduced during the quarter.

**Data:** I’ve included a Data Collection Sheet so students may monitor their own growth, and an Item Analysis Sheet to teach students how to pinpoint areas that challenge them. If you purchase my bundle, they will have data for the whole year.

CCSS5.G.B.4

Classify two-dimensional figures in a hierarchy based on properties.

CCSS5.G.B.3

Understand that attributes belonging to a category of two-dimensional figures also belong to all subcategories of that category. For example, all rectangles have four right angles and squares are rectangles, so all squares have four right angles.

CCSS5.G.A.2

Represent real world and mathematical problems by graphing points in the first quadrant of the coordinate plane, and interpret coordinate values of points in the context of the situation.

CCSS5.G.A.1

Use a pair of perpendicular number lines, called axes, to define a coordinate system, with the intersection of the lines (the origin) arranged to coincide with the 0 on each line and a given point in the plane located by using an ordered pair of numbers, called its coordinates. Understand that the first number indicates how far to travel from the origin in the direction of one axis, and the second number indicates how far to travel in the direction of the second axis, with the convention that the names of the two axes and the coordinates correspond (e.g., 𝘹-axis and 𝘹-coordinate, 𝘺-axis and 𝘺-coordinate).

CCSS5.NF.B.7c

Solve real world problems involving division of unit fractions by non-zero whole numbers and division of whole numbers by unit fractions, e.g., by using visual fraction models and equations to represent the problem. For example, how much chocolate will each person get if 3 people share 1/2 lb of chocolate equally? How many 1/3-cup servings are in 2 cups of raisins?
