Are you looking for a visual way to share your students' growth? Maybe you need an aid for parent or student conferences.
These math standards progression charts are perfect for talking about a student's growth over the year. It is also helpful for your own planning needs because it shows where your students are in their learning to help you plan lessons.
All of the standards come from Common Core. I broke the math standards into five categories: addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, geometry, measurement and data, and fractions. Every standard within each category is labeled for your convenience.
You can use the same pages with each student all year long. Just date each new achievement, and you will have a record of your students' growth. Plus, using the charts with parents will give you a common language to discuss academics.
The charts can be printed on any size paper, but they will be best on either legal or 11 x 17.
