I no longer teach Math to the whole group at once. I teach Math through stations. I use the acronym THINK for the names of each station. Teaching math in this manner allows me to truly differentiate the instruction. I group students based on a pretest. I can accelerate my instruction for those who need it and remediate when it’s appropriate much more easily when teaching with this format.
