When starting a new TEK require your students to copy the TEK into their math journals from the first slide. Discuss what the students will be learning based on the TEK.
Have students copy each vocabulary word and definition into their journals, and then have them create their own drawing to go with the word.
Print out the slides in full page format to use on your word wall and display prominently.
*Print slides in 3 slide format and use the lines to the side for students own notes about that word
*Print in 6 slide format on card stock for vocabulary review centers
