are slides with purposefully planned subtraction equations to get 1st and 2nd grade kids talking about specific subtraction strategies. There are 3 equations for each "talk" and 20 total talks (that's 60 equations to talk about altogether!). There are 4 planned talks for each of the following categories:
-decomposing teens as ten and some ones
-using related addition facts
-2-digit subtraction using base 10 understanding
