Use the puzzle directions as a whole group, small group, or individual Math task to practice logical reasoning to put things into an order. These are great for helping kids to see that it’s not only possible but it’s OKAY to have more than one solution to a problem.
I project the task slide and give each child a strip of the characters to cut out and move around on their desk as they discuss the different solutions. You could also print out the task page and colorful picture cards to manipulate in a small group to discuss possible solutions. I’ve included a take home sheet if you prefer to do the task individually
