We begin our Test Prep Boot Camp with students wearing their badges and chant our boot camp chant. I have 5 stations that are set up around the room and each ”team” begins at a station. Students usually have about 15 minutes or so to complete each station. When the time is up, I blow my whistle and students rotate to their next station. Often times I will give them a command like they must march or they have to do 2 jumping jacks before they begin their station to make it more fun!
Each station has a direction page and a sign with the topic that the students will be working on. (Before beginning I like to take the time to briefly go over each station so there is less confusion but stations are pretty self explanatory! This was definitely one of their favorite days of the year last year! (I also dressed up in camo and wore face paint to get them even more excited!)
I have included:
6 Stations with signs that match with each station (Multiplication & Division, Fractions, Area & Perimeter, Addition & Subtraction, Graphing, and Place Value (Rounding) Direction pages
A Boot Camp Completion Certificate
Boot Camp Badges
A Boot Camp Banner
A Boot Camp Chant
