If you are looking for activities for your students associated with comparing numbers, look no further.
This product includes:
* classroom scale
* student scales (with calendar for daily monitoring)
* an assessment booklet
This scale is used as a display in the classroom for all students to see. This scale will be used to teach students the expectations during a whole group setting. Teachers may refer to this also during small group teaching.
The students scale is used to track students’ understanding. The book has a cover for students to write their name and color the front cover. On the next page, there is a daily monitoring piece. This is used alongside the rubric. The students use this to self-assess, for each day the students will “rate” themselves as a 4,3,2 or 1. This should be done at the end of an activity or lesson.
The assessment booklet can be used as an assessment piece or form of review. If used as an assessment tool, administer this after the chapter of comparing numbers is complete. If used as a review, it should still be done after the chapter/unit is complete.
