Math Vocabulary Four Square Graphic Organizers
Four square models are a great way to help your students master math vocabulary! Included are three graphic organizers that are easily used with interactive math notebooks.
Version 1 includes the classic Frayer model, which includes the word, essential and nonessential characteristics, examples, and non-examples.
Version 2 is a modified Frayer model, which includes the word, friendly definition, picture/symbol, characteristics, and an example.
Version 3 is a four square association model, which is my favorite one to use with my English Learners! This model includes the word, picture, related words (in my class, we call them “lightbulb words” because they make us think about the focus word), friendly definition, and facts.
Also included are interactive math notebook samples!
