These vocabulary games have 96 math terms and definitions for grades 1-2. There are directions for nine games to play with these cards. You may choose which cards to use for the different games. There are also six pages of answer sheets. The cards are divided into three categories:
Print the games in color or gray scale on card stock. The file is set up with some blank pages, because some of the pages are blank on the back while others are printed on both sides. When the file is sent to a printer in double sided mode, the game will print out correctly. Games last much longer if they are laminated first then cut apart. Gallon size plastic baggies work well for game storage. Attach the directions on the outside of the baggy with clear contact paper.
The board games are in two halves. They need to be trimmed at the center then taped together on the back with clear packing tape. This way they can be folded in half and will fit in a gallon size baggy. Cut the cards and place them in the baggy along with some moving markers. Some good moving markers are different shapes of erasers, plastic toys, pencil toppers and game pieces from old board games. Metal spinners can be purchased at most teacher stores or you can attach a paper clip with a paper fastener to the center of the number wheel.
