SAVE 10% and buy all of my math word wall cards!

This is a compilation of all of the word wall cards that I have sold separately by groups. There are 160 vocabulary word cards in total. Definitions, pictures or visuals, and examples are on each card when appropriate to demonstrate math concepts.

Word cards included are:

Group 1: This group contains 25 vocabulary cards including the following: Commutative Property of Multiplication, composite number, divisibility rule, divisible by, even number, exponent, exponential notation, factors, factor pair, factor rainbow, factor string, length of factor string, name collection box, number model, odd number, prime factorization, prime number, product, quotient, rectangular array, remainder, square array, square number, square root, and turn-around rule.

Group 2: This group contains 35 vocabulary cards including the following: algorithm, ballpark estimate, certain, column-addition method, difference, digit, estimate, expanded notation, false number sentence, impossible, lattice method, magnitude estimate, maximum, mean, median, minimum, minuend, mode, number sentence, open number sentence, operation symbol, partial-differences method, partial-products method, partial-sums method, place, place value, range, relation symbols, sample, solution, subtrahend, trade-first method, true number sentence, value, and variable.

Group 3: This group contains 20 vocabulary cards including the following: acute angle, adjacent angle, arc, congruent, diameter, equilateral triangle, horizontal, isosceles triangle, obtuse angle, pentagon, perimeter, radius, reflex angle, regular polygon, regular tessellation, right angle, scalene triangle, straight angle, tessellation, and vertical.

Groups 4-5: This group contains 20 vocabulary cards including the following: decimal point, dividend, divisor, map direction symbol, map legend/key, map scale, multiples, bar graph, denominator, equivalent fractions, fraction stick, improper fraction, mixed number, numerator, percent repeating decimal, round, sector, unit fraction, and whole.

Group 6: This group contains 12 vocabulary cards including the following: common denominator, cubit, fair game, fathom, frequency table, great span, line plot, population, simplest form, stem and leaf plot, survey, and unlike denominators.

Groups 7-8: This group contains 11 vocabulary cards including the following: axis, base, expression, line graph, negative number, nested parenthesis, and number-and-word notation, order of operations, scientific notation, standard form, and trend.

Group 9: This group contains 20 vocabulary cards including the following: area, capacity, coordinate, coordinate grid, cubic centimeter, cubic unit, cup, face, formula, liter, milliliter, ordered pair, origin, perpendicular, prism, quart, reflection, square units, translation, and volume.

Groups 10-12: This group contains 17 vocabulary cards including the following: Algebraic expression, circumference, Pi, Rate, cone cylinder, edge, polyhedron, sphere, surface area, vertex, common factors, equally likely, factor tree, greatest common factor, least common multiple, and probability.

I tried for two years to have a kid created word wall, but could never keep up with it because this program is so intense and time consuming. So this is the result and the kids use the wall every day. I still have students provide a description, explanation, or example of some new terms. Then, I hang them over top of the ones already up on the board. These were created for the fifth grade program, but many of the vocabulary words overlap and are useful for 4th and 6th grade.

I have found that this word wall has helped all of my students including my GT, remedial, IEP, and ELL students.
