I created this math vocabulary to use in a variety of ways.
Direct Instruction: Print out the cards and post on the board when introducing a new math term. Keep this term displayed on the board for the duration of the unit in which the term will be used.
Word Wall. I believe that word walls should be used in all subjects. For math, it is important that students see the vocabulary presented visually. For math to make sense, it must be made visual. This set of math vocabulary will help you achieve that. They can be printed smaller for math word wall use.
