This product allows students to play the card game War, while practicing their patterns including add ten, add one hundred, subtract ten, and subtract one hundred(+10, +100, -10, -100). This Math War game could be used for differentiated math centers, an early finisher choice, a no-prep option for classroom volunteers to use, small group math games, and more. Directions are included so that students and volunteers can play the game without any explanation from you.
The War Game Cards are black and white for ink-saving purposes. I print my cards on colored paper and laminate for durability. The math facts are purposefully gray so that students cannot read the cards through the blank side.
The following options are included:
-2 digit #s plus 10
-2 digit #s minus 10
-3 digit #s plus 10
-3 digit #s minus 10
-3 digit #s plus 100
-3 digit #s minus 100
