This episode focuses on finding the volumes of various rectangular prisms and then adding those volumes together. Students take on various roles, acting out a real world type scenario where an air conditioning company must determine how much volume several buildings enclose, so that they can sell a client the right size of air conditioning unit.
Other students follow along and can track their calculations on an included chart/worksheet.. There are several extra problems for the students to solve, which they can work on individually or in groups.
