Description
This is a collection of word problems aimed at students in Grade 4-6. (High ability group for Grade 4).
There are eight quizzes included each with five questions. All answers are included. The quizzes cover different strands.
The topics covered are as follows:
Fractions of money
Fractions of amounts
Time problems
Money money problems
Perimeter and area
Subtraction and addition multiple step problems
Ordering fractions and decimals
The questions vary in difficult but are sure to keep the class busy.
I find these questions especially good as an extension, a pop quiz, EMA activity or to use one or two at the beginning or end of a lesson.
