The purpose of the system is to create leveled work bins for the area of math in a special education classroom. Once bins are leveled and the student is assessed, creating a student schedule for a diverse classroom becomes easier! Please see preview before purchasing.
-2" labels for bins & labels for student schedules
-skill progression check list for 8 math topics, all topics are broken into 6 ability levels
-signs for classroom or storage area for quick reference for each level.
The math topics are Numbers, Operations, Money, Time, Graphs, Fractions, Decimals, Shapes. The skill progression check list takes a student from matching pictures, numbers and fractions, to being able to count and read numbers up to 10,000, read and simply mixed fractions, and make change$.
This was created for my 6-8th grade math classes for students with severe cognitive/intellectual disabilities. I set up the math checklist based on functional skills & Common Core Connectors that are deemed focus points by my school district and state. Currently, the work system is not editable. I hope to add editable resources in the future.
