Looking for creative ways to include math writing in your instruction? Math interviews allow students to think mathematically while enhancing their writing skills. Students will pick a math "subject" (i.e. a number or shape) and then interview themselves or another student. After interviewing, students will compose a biographical article about their subject with the information they gathered.
This resource includes 4 question and writing templates for numbers, shapes, coins, and fractions. A blank question and writing template is also included if you would like to cover a different topic.
