One of the hardest parts of preparing students for Math Standardized Testing is preparing them to communicate their math process using words.
I realized that many of my students simply didn't know what a "good" answer looked like, and so I created this handout to give them specific examples.
This handout includes a math problem, two exemplar answers highlighting different strategies for solving the problem, and a blank rubric for students to use to assess their own responses.
This can be a great activity for a math center!
