There is no need to move student cards around to keep up with this schedule. It is easy-peasy! Use a dry-erase marker to add students to groups and then only move them as needed using pre-tests.
I use this board by spending 25 minutes with my first group, 20 with my second group, and 15 with my third group every day.
The choice center is where students use centers materials like puzzles and learning games. This center can also be a time when students complete activities they started at the teacher table.
Students in the books center will read with a buddy on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They read independently on Mondays and Wednesdays. I do what we have time for based on testing on Fridays. This information is not listed on the rotations board in order to leave this decision up to teacher discretion.
1. Print the rotations boards.
2. Laminate the boards.
3. Write students names using a dry erase marker.
