This is a 3 Part Lesson Plan that will ask students to:
- identify healthy foods
- understand the cost of food products in store flyers
- add (and for some, subtract) money amounts
- design a menu for a day
Using basic money and addition/subtraction skills, students will design 3 healthy meals (using store flyers) and figure out the cost for each meal.
This is a great end of a unit lesson that can easily be adapted or modified to meet the learning needs of all of your students.
