Race to the Finish is a game board that can be used with cards (see my other files) and played with different levels of students at the same time. The students draw a card and answer the math problem on their card and then move the number of spaces that are the answer for their card (10-6 would move 4 spaces). It is a fun, fast-paced game made even more fun with a double 10-sided dice (or two dice if you don't have one).
The sets of game cards should be printed onto colored paper and laminated or colored card stock. Each set should be a different color so that you can easily keep them organized. Multiple decks can be used with a small group of students at the same time. One student may use a deck that is teaching fluency to 10, while another uses a deck that is working on fluency to 20.
