With "Math in WWII," take your students on a ride through history with a mathematical perspective. This is an entire unit that covers expressions, equations, and functions by exploring major events in WWII. All the events and dates are correct. This unit takes students through the historical events of WWII and teaches the math concepts at each historical event. This is typically the first unit taught in algebra 1. This unit includes all of the story, homework assignments, and answer key for notes and homework assignments. All the work is done for you. It might help to show short videos to the students for each event to give them a historical perspective. I hope you enjoy this unit.
