After teaching fourth an fifth grade math for decades I noticed that my students would constantly forget the number operations, and rational number skills in the pervious grades.. So I developed a daily spiral review for my fifth graders. It is a ten-question review aligned to Common Core Mathematics Standards for fourth and fifth grades. I use it during my "opening meeting" at our table. This is also a great activity for your "extended learning time" in the morning. Just duplicate the activity sheets front and back to save paper. There is very little prep because the answer keys are included. Try the free "Math in the Morning" activity by downloading it from the Math Diva Store to see what its like. It is teacher friendly and student engaging! Enjoy!
