PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Bring winter right into your classroom with these fun math centers!

There are 6 winter themed math centers included in this packet that all center around the 2nd grade math common core standards for addition, money, and place value.

Centers Included Are:
Waddlin' Through Place Value-Students will match the penguins using expanded form and standard form
Addition Warm Up-Students will add 2 and 3 digit numbers by choosing a scarf and a mitten (regrouping will be needed for most). Students will then color the even and odd sums.
FREEZE...It's Mental Math Time-Students will help to keep the polar animals warm by adding 10 and 100 as fast as they can.
Hey, Snowman! What's Your Pattern?-Students will look at each card and determine the pattern (counting by 2's, 5's, or 10's) and fill in the blanks.
Snowman Sizes-Students will choose 2 snowmen and compare their numbers using greater than, less than, or equal to.
Hot Chocolate for Sale-Students will warm up by choosing what they want to put in their hot chocolate and then "buying it".
