The idea of Math or Treat is that students will work on a task card with a certain math skill. Then they will have it checked, and then they go to that cards matching treat basket. For example, if they complete task card 3, they get to take a treat from basket #3 and put it in their bag. Then they keep “math or treating” until they finish!
Here are the skills included: tally marks, doubles facts, tens facts, adding on a number line, counting on to add, counting back to subtract, adding 3 numbers, related facts, and subtraction using a picture. Mix and match what you want your students to practice!
