This story is about two girls preparing for a picnic with their moms. They face a challenge during the preparation process. They try to figure out which of the two trays they are using is bigger. They are looking for a practical way to know this. They manage to solve the problem in while they are working.
The front and back covers can be used to solve the new challenge the two girls face at the end of the story.
The story helps the students to understand the following in an indirect way:

• A practical way to measure the area of a rectangle.

• The shape of the rectangle does not affect its size.

• Two ways to get number twelve by multiplication.
This is a story for young children aged 6-8.
