Mathlete Champions: Subtraction

Are you ready to create Mathlete Champions: Subtraction Style in your room? If you are like me, at times, you would almost do anything and I do mean ANYTHING to get your kids motivated about memorizing their basic subtraction facts. If it is out there, I have tried it. I have tried the timed test. I have tried the chants and cheers. I have tired the rap CDs. I have tried the write them until your hands practically fall off methods. However, nothing seemed to work. The kids just never got excited enough to really, REALLY learn these facts. So, I have put together a little unit that combines a little of this and a little of that to hopefully (fingers crossed) help them put these facts into memory once and for all!
