Maths In A Flash: Level D is aimed at 4th grade students, but may be suitable for some 3rd and 5th grade students.
Maths In A Flash is a daily program for developing number fact skills and automatic response.
Each booklet contains 10 pages, one per day.
Students are timed and encouraged to achieve PB’s (personal bests).
Each booklet includes four different number fact skills. Within each book, the number facts are repeated and progressively increase in difficulty, reinforcing skills and gradually developing new skills.

Level A 1st Grade Prep / Kind 10 booklets—large A4 format, aimed to start half way (Foundation) through the first year

We have been using this program for the last two years across five grade levels and have seen significant improvement in speed, accuracy and confidence in number fact skills. Students learn to apply known number facts to larger numbers and discover the patterns in maths.
When first introducing this program, we allowed up to 10 minutes each day. Most students completed it in less than 5 minutes. For the remainder of the 10 minutes, students were given number fact games / activities to complete (see my other resources: Flip cards, Bump Off, etc). As students develop their skills, many will complete this in less than 3 minutes. You can either set a 5 minute time limit or allow 10 minutes so that students follow up the Maths In A Flash with a quick number fact game or activity.
