Do you need an assessment that clearly shows the progression from one level to the next and identifies areas of strength and weakness? It tests both above and below the expected grade level to help identify students at all levels. This is a great diagnostic tool to help direct future teaching and organising groups according to academic ability.
It includes a separate test booklet per grade level and an answer book that indicates the grade level for each question within the book. One feature of this test is that it includes Power Point tests - an amazing tool for testing individual student's automatic response to number facts, the whole class can be tested at one time. I also get the students to swap and correct - great results in a short time! Our teachers use this regularly and love it.
It can be used as a whole test for reporting purposes or pre and post testing of individual mathematical topics.

Teachers have trialled this assessment tool for the past two years and found it very useful as a diagnostic tool. Thanks to the staff and students at Chairo Christian School, Victoria.
The colour codes in the answer book show the results for each grade level's expected outcome at the end of the year, according to Australian Curriculum. It may need adapting slightly for other countries.
