Supplies needed for this lab (per pair or small group):
Triple-Beam Balance, Double-Pan Balance, or Scale
Beaker (at least 250 ml)
Plastic Bottle Cap
Small Piece of Sponge
Crayons or Colored Pencils
Student Pages/Booklet (from this resource)
Students will measure the objects' masses and volumes, calculate their absolute densities, make predictions with the data, complete a lab, record and diagram lab data, and draw conclusions.
Use the included student pages to create a booklet perfect for interactive notebooks!
