Matter Paper Bag Book with Informational Text: It's a fun classroom project to wrap up your matter unit, a science activity keepsake and a book made with brown lunch bags all in one! This Lunch Bag Lessons craftivity is a fun way to integrate science into your language arts curriculum any time you study the 3 states or properties of matter. All you need for this adorable project is a few brown bags, the printables in this file, staples, crayons and glue.
The design of this book allows it to be interactive! There are frames on flaps to lift to reveal a fact below and pouches with pull-out inserts with interesting matter facts your students can read! There are two additional pull out tabs with a fill in the blank section for students to show what they have learned and to review. The main pages of the booklet describe the basics of matter.
All pages, and the booklet cover and inserts, are created in black and white so your students can color the graphics, backgrounds and frames.
See the thumbnail images and download the preview for a closer look.

**Please note that the finished product may take several days for the students to complete and it is recommended that you allow ample time and take the project in steps. In my classroom, we read and discuss on the first day, color the graphics a little here and there during some spare moments, cut out the pieces at another time and assemble the book on another day.
