This compressed file contains both PowerPoint and SmartBoard presentations that teach the basic concepts of matter that are appropriate for second grade students. The preview will show you exactly what the files contain. Included are worksheets for teaching and assessing learning. Also included is a booklet that student could illustrate called My Matter Book. The answer key is included for the pages where that would be helpful.
(Although these files are specifically designed for the second grade NGSS standards, other teachers may be able to use many of these files, especially in a review of their students’ existing knowledge of the concept.)
