GREAT VISUAL FOR EASY CONNECTIONS!
Students have a hard time relating the math /number for their MAX HR to their level of fitness and activity level.
This is a great visual where they can have their max hr in front of them and see where their heart rates should be for their desired level of activity.
This is an IN CLASS ACTIVITY.
1. They figure out their Max Heart Rate and Heart Rates for each level of activity
2. Perform movement activities (I usually have them play soccer for 2 minutes at a time)
3. Stop and Take pulse to figure out their level of activity.
