This flower activity is perfect for working on articulation skills at the word level. There are 9 target sounds included. /r/, /ch/, /sh/, /s/, /z/, /l/, /k/, /g/, & /th/. Each sound includes words in the initial, medial and final position.
Choose whatever sound you are working on and print out the two
flowers for that sound. Each flower has 10 words, with a total of 20
words (inital, medial, & final positions) per sound. Cut out all the pieces of the flower, don’t forget the seeds!! As you grow your flower (glue on the paper) practice saying your word that is on each piece. Pages 21 & 22 are where you glue your flowers. There is a boy & a girl page. Both flowers should fit on the page. You plant the seeds in the ground first (green section at the bottom) and then assemble the rest. Have fun creating your speech sound gardens!!!
