This packet contains a word work literacy menu with 9 activities for the month of May. Many centers have more than one option for differentiating instruction. These centers are common core aligned specifically for Kindergarten, but may be used for Prekindergarten and/or struggling First Graders. The activities on the menu can be used as literacy centers, early finisher activities, or in small groups.

Buzzing Bee Words: Draw and color an outdoor picture. Draw a bee for each of your words. Then write the words inside each of the bees.
Rhyming Raindrops: You will need an education cube for this activity. Insert raindrop pictures inside pockets of the cube. Students will roll the dice and read the word. They will need to find the rhyming picture and write the word in the box
If you do not have an education cube you could use a small box and glue the rhyming pictures to each side of your box.
Pointers: Use a pointer to read the words on the word wall.
