May Words Book (sentence writing) ---
Integrating writing into every standard gives students writing practice which leads to success. This 25 page book is designed so that you can copy the book, cut it in half, staple, and then it is ready for use. Each page has a picture and two blank lines for students to create sentences for each picture. There is a title page, and then the 24 pictures included in this book are ant, bee, beetle, butterfly, caterpillar, dragonfly, fly, firefly, grasshopper, ladybug, spider, seeds, flower pot, flowers, tools, garden bag, plant, gloves, rake, watering can, wheelbarrow, mom, Mother's Day, and tulip. This is great for a mini lesson on what good writers do, homework, morning work, or literacy centers to work on writing. I hope your students enjoy creating their own sentences for the pictures.
