✤ This maze is part of : Maze - MEGA BUNDLE on Exponential and Logarithmic Functions ✤
✐ This is a simple
maze on expanding logarithms. Please take a look at a more advanced maze right here. Also, If you would like a simple maze on Condensing Logarithms, please click right here.
This product is a good review of "expanding LOGARITHMS"
where the input is always variables
, no numbers. To expand these logs, students are required to:
❖ Use the Product Property
❖ Use the Quotient Property
❖ Use the Power Property
Additionally, students need to feel very comfortable with changing radicals into rational exponents using powers such as:
√ ↠ ↠ ↠ ½, ⅓, ⅖ , and so on
In this model, students would need to use either one of the above properties alone, or a combination of power property
and product property
, or power property
and quotient property
This maze was completed successfully with my B level students Algebra II
. My honors enjoyed it as a quick sweet review. We used it after we finished learning the above properties. Please, take a look at the preview before purchasing to make sure that this maze meets your expectations. After seeing the preview, If you would like to modify the maze in any way, please don't hesitate to contact me via Q and A

My students truly were ENGAGED
answering this maze much better than the textbook problems. They wanted to complete it and get to the end. ✰ ✰ ✰
There are 15 logarithmic functions provided. From start to end, the student will be able to answer 11 questions out of the 15 provided to get to the end of the maze.
This maze could be used as:
a way to check for understanding, a review, recap of the lesson, pair-share, cooperative learning, exit ticket, entrance ticket, homework, individual practice, when you have time left at the end of a period, beginning of the period (as a warm up or bell work), before a quiz on the topic, and more.
