This activity is a good review of "Writing Linear Equations in Slope-intercept form and Standard form from a graph"
. There are 15 questions provided. From start to end, students will be able to factor out 13 questions of the 15 provided to get to the end of the maze.
In this activity the line maybe:
• Falling Line (Negative Slope)
• Rising Line (Positive Slope)
• Horizontal Line (Zero Slope)
• Vertical Line (Undefined Slope)
A STEP-BY-STEP ANSWER KEY
is provided and could be used with a sub while out. Additionally, I've attached a blank answer form if you wish to utilize it. Students will show the answers (and necessary work) to the questions of their path to the end. In this case, they will show work for the 13 questions they would have to do and would be on their path.
This maze could be used as:
a way to check for understanding, a review, recap of the lesson, pair-share, cooperative learning, exit ticket, entrance ticket, homework, individual practice, when you have time left at the end of a period, beginning of the period (as a warm up or bell work), before a quiz on the topic, and more.
