Mazes can help students learn the meanings for herbivore, omnivore, and carnivore.
These mazes make engaging supplements to science education programs in grades 1, 2, and 3.
Now includes COLOR AND BW.
A color version and BW version
of each maze is included, with an answer key.
I like to laminate the color version for a science center, and print the BW copies for seat work, tutoring, and homework. Students enjoy coloring the pictures and tracing the path from the animal to its food. Of course the back of the page can be used to add pictures and names of other foods the animal eats.
This set includes mazes for each of the following animals with general labels:
(There is always the opportunity to discuss the limitations of categories and exceptions.)
Carnivores (animal that eat meat):
Anteater (Occasionally anteaters eat fruit. )
Herbivores (Animals that eat plants):
Omnivores (Animals that eat both plants and animals):
Hen and Rooster
