Product Description

This is a two-part activity. Part one involves students analyzing various powers of government and identifying them as expressed, reserved, or concurrent powers. Part two involves students analyzing two Supreme Court decisions: McCulloch v. Maryland and Gibbons v. Ogden. After reading through the background of the case, they will need to explain whether Congress was acting within their constitutional limits. I also have the decisions for each case which I require my students to write down at the end of the activity.
